Book Sales

We have two library book sales per year (fall and spring). Proceeds from the sale support the purchase of new items for the library collection or special fundraising efforts. We have thousands of donated items - books, audiobooks, movies and music! - separated into easily browsable categories. Sales take place in the Stratham Municipal Center at 10 Bunker Hill Ave., Stratham NH.

Please feel free to call at (603) 772-4346 or click here to email us for more information.

We review all donations first for possible addition to the library collection or donation to another organization.

We accept most materials which are clean and in good condition, however the Library cannot accept textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader's Digest Condensed Books, magazines or any materials that have developed an odor, are damaged, or are not clean. Donations must be made without condition as to their use or disposition by the Library.

We especially appreciate contemporary novels (published in the last 2 years), genre fiction (mysteries, sci-fi), and current nonfiction. Cookbooks, Crafts, Home Repair and Children's Books are always big sellers.

Donations can only be accepted during library hours: Monday - Thursday 9:30am to 7:00pm, Fridays 9:30am to 6:00pm, Saturdays 9:30am to 3:00pm. Only two boxes of donated material can be accepted at any one time.

Donations to the library can be tax deductible. We have receipts available for all donations. Please ask at the main desk.
