Seed Library Exchange Program

Seed Library

Coming in April 2023! We are starting a seed library for Stratham. With our seed library, you can donate and exchange seeds --you can even harvest the seeds and plant them again. The seed library will kick-off on April 1, 2023.

Seed Library Guidelines:

  • Only take seeds you are willing to commit to growing with organic practices, including not spraying with non-organic pesticides.
  • Know your site. Don't take seeds that need full sun if you have shade.
  • Feel free to participate in seed sharing with us. Nothing more than 3 years old. Please only open-pollinated or heirloom seeds. No invasive species.
  • You are borrowing seeds from our library. Please try to let one or two plants go to seed and return those seeds to us at the end of the year.
  • It's okay if you can't return seeds of the same variety you borrowed. Also, consider donating a seed packet.
  • Remember to sign out your seeds on the sign-out sheet.
