Patron Responsibilities

The library's policy on meeting room use was designed to allow for the easiest access by the most residents. There is high demand for use of these spaces, and we appreciate your adherence to our policies. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Library events and needs take priority, though all efforts will be made to accommodate existing reservations.
  • Patrons using library meeting and study rooms are subject to all library rules. Events/meetings must not disrupt normal library business. 
  • Patrons using library meeting and study rooms will supervise and be responsible for any children at the event/meeting. Youth events require at least 1:10 ratio.
  • Patrons using library meeting and study rooms are responsible for setting up and returning the furniture to its original placement and leaving the space in the condition it was found. 
  • Please remove trash.
  • Any damage to the room, its furnishing and/or equipment will be assessed to the adult who reserved the room.
  • Patrons will leave the room at least 15 minutes before the library closes (except for approved library meeting room exceptions).
