Looking for some tips about researching your family's history? The library has lots of resources to help you out. Take a look at our Genealogy Resources brochure online, or print it out. Ancestry Library Edition

We can no longer offer home access to Ancestry.com; however, you are welcome to come to the library and you can access Ancestry Library Edition from our public PCs.

Library Collections

The Library has collections of how-to genealogical materials as well as some town and family histories. The how-to books, regional books, and some family histories are located together in the nonfiction collection (929). Additional family histories can be found in our Reference collection. There is a wealth of resources at the Stratham Historical Society. They are open Tuesdays 9:00am to 11:30am, Thursdays 2:00pm to 4:00pm, and the first Sunday of each month 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Cemetery Records Online	If you can wade through the sponsor ads you will find this a useful free site for research. You will find more than 292,000 records from over 1,800 cemeteries worldwide. This site also links to related resources.
Cyndi's List of Genealogy Sites on the Internet	This is the largest collection of genealogy links anywhere on the web.
NH Genealogy	You can get to Cyndi's complete list from the NH GenWeb Page, but this will get you right to the NH stuff.
Cousin Relationships Chart	A chart of titles for relationships, such as 2nd cousin twice removed, etc.
National Records and Archives Administration Genealogy Page	This is the spot for genealogy info and historical documents.
NH GenWeb Page	This is the home of the NH Genealogy Project. You can get information by county from volunteers who will look up specific genealogical questions or you can take advantage of all the links to other sites that have been collected here.
U.S. GenWeb Project	A cooperative effort of volunteers from around the country, this project seeks to have a web page and linked info about every state and county in the U.S.
