Vaccination process
EMAIL ADDRESS - An email address can only be used one time for registration. If your spouse or partner registers separately, they will need to use a different address. If a family member is helping you register and use their own email address, they will not be able to use that address for themselves.

SECURITY - Only share personal information with official sites, like:
https://www.vaccines.nh.gov/
https://vams.cdc.gov

If you aren't sure if the site is official, don't click on any links in the email: look at the "from" email address (official email addresses will have an ending of vaccines.nh.gov or .nh.gov or vams@cdc.gov or no-reply@mail.vams.cdc.gov). You can also type the address https://www.vaccines.nh.gov/ into the address bar of your browser. Typing it in means that a link won't be taking you to an unofficial site.
The best thing to do if you are unsure: Call 211 and a State-trained volunteer will be able to help.

If you want to receive CDC/VAMS messages by text, you'll have to OPT IN while registering with the VAMS site. If you receive a text message before you have done this, or if you did not choose to receive messages by text, do not respond! Again, go to the official VAMS site or call 211.

A few of the questions:
I’ve submitted the online registration form, when will I receive email confirmation to schedule my appointment?
After submitting your online registration form, you will receive an automated email from the CDC Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS) within 48 hours. The email will come from no-reply@mail.vams.cdc.gov. Please check your spam and junk folders to make sure it didn’t get accidentally filtered incorrectly. You must complete the instructions in this email to schedule your vaccination appointment.

Can I come with my spouse or a family member?
Yes, you can come with your spouse or family member, however they may only receive the vaccine if they have an appointment. When registering online, there is an option to indicate that you will be arriving at your appointment with another Phase 1B eligible member who would like to be vaccinated. That person will verify and complete registration paperwork onsite. During the online registration process, it is so important that this box is checked because this will help to ensure the appropriate amount of vaccine doses is available for that day at the vaccination site.

Will I need to pay for a COVID-19 vaccine/Do I need insurance?
You will not be charged for the vaccine if it is administered to you at a state fixed location. If you receive the vaccine through a provider, you could be charged vaccine administration fees.

What documents do I need to show/bring with me at time of my vaccine appointment?
You will need to bring at least one of these documents when you arrive to get their vaccine:
• Valid, unexpired NH Driver license or Non-Driver ID card.
• A payroll check, payroll document, or employment contract showing individual’s legal New Hampshire address, dated within the last 60 days.
• A government issued payment (ie. social security), showing individual’s legal New Hampshire address, dated within the last 60 days.
